You'll really only need to check the Blakkamoore voiced 'Dancin On Me' and the plastic horned bounce of 'Turn My Swag' because 'Pop Champagne' and 'Can't Believe It' shouldn't have happened really.

Four Tet follows up the woozy charms of his 'Love Cry' single here with two blindingly essential remixes from Joy Orbison and Roska. While both producers display a commendable streak of good form on this 12", we'd have to draw for the Joy Orbison mix as the big hitter, calving a chunk of the funky/garage/wotstep away from the crowd with a coolly mannered exuberance. For a producer of his age and experience this remix is a remarkably knowing yet fresh frisson of styles, combining lushly sensitive Detroit chords (albeit filtered through 20 years of UK and Berlin dance music) with the sprightly swing of garage in a time honored yet entirely refreshing style, more feminine pressure than the amped-up stomp of dubstep rave. On the flip Roska pulls out another signature roller from his hardworking production line, smoothing his style to match the original with a melodic -instead of rude - bassline and minimal but kinky rhythmic flavour that makes us crave his beats so badly! Already a hit with Gilles Peterson and Mary-Anne Hobbs and anyone else with an ounce of groove in their pants. Get one while you can....It's limited!
